What does the PTO do for our school?

School Suppport: Provide $10,000+ each year in grants supporting student recognition, scholarships, field trips, health room, counseling and other school needs.
Student and Staff Appreciation: Support staff with monthly meals, treats or gifts, while offering student Treat Days and partnering with ASB for events and concessions.
Building Community: We help provide volunteers for school events and activities, including Grizzly Days, school photos, hearing and vision screenings, and campus events, while offering discounted opportunities to attend Mariners and Thunderbirds games.
Supporting Future Success: We contribute to the THS senior scholarship fund and partner with the school to create opportunities that showcase students' fine arts and academic achievements beyond the classroom.

What is expected of a PTO member?

VOLUNTEERING IS NOT REQUIRED! Your membership in addition to fundraising, helps fund PTO programs, grants, and student support. So, if you don't have time to volunteer, your membership shows your support!
Want to Volunteer? ALL volunteers must be cleared through TSD before volunteering. TSD Volunteer Clearance Once volunter clearance is obtained, we'd love to have you! Every helping hand makes a difference.
Meetings: We typically hold 4-6 general meetings per year. Your attendance is not required, but your voice is always appreciated, so please join us if you are available.
